Child Care Services
The Volunteers of America Children's Center provides quality care and educational programs for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years of age, including:
- Early Childhood Programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Early Head Start
- Head Start ( full- and half-day)
- Universal Pre-K
- Before & After School Programs
- Full-Day Summer Camp
- 21st Century Learning Program - Free After-School Program for School #5 Students
The Children's Center offers families and children quality, affordable care that includes access to state-of-the-art facilities and programs. The nationally accredited Children's Center is open Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM and includes:
School-age classrooms that provide the tools for creativity and learning
An infant and toddler wing to meet the needs of small children
Three (3) age appropriate, secure outdoor playgrounds and an indoor playground
A fully staffed kitchen to provide healthy meals
Lots of room to play, inside and outside
Supervised internet access
