How to Donate Your Vehicle
- Call Volunteers of America to find out where to bring your vehicle or to make towing arrangements
- A VOA representative will help you determine whether you have all the required paperwork (most recent title and original lien release)
- After you've spoken with a VOA representative to ensure the vehicle meets VOA requirements and that you have the correct paperwork, sign the vehicle's Certificate of Title
- Save your receipt, which will be provided once VOA resells your vehicle. You can use the receipt when preparing your taxes (if you itemize)
When you call, we'll tell you how to properly complete the paperwork and then arrange for the vehicle to be towed (or tell you where you can drop it off) - all in less than five minutes.
