Your Caring Gifts Campaign

The holiday season brings blessings and joy to many of us.  It is a time of sharing and giving.  Through the "Your Caring Gifts" Campaign, we can give much needed comfort and joy to our neighbors in need during this special time of the year.
 
The "Your Caring Gifts" Campaign is brought to you by YNN, M & T Bank,  and Vermark Technologies.  It is inspired by neighbors helping neighbors. 

Please consider supporting one of the gifts below which will provide much needed services for an individual or family in need in our community.

The Gift of Shelter, $50
Ensure that homeless  individuals and families have a safe place to sleep, food to eat, and the assistance necessary to address the crisis in their lives.  The gift will help those staying at Volunteers of America's Emergency Shelters.

The Gift of Honor, $38
Provide transitional housing and support services for homeless veterans to help them rebuild their lives and regain their self-worth.

The Gift of Food, $80
Supply a week of groceries for a family who is struggling to make ends meet.

The Gift of Literacy, $15
Help prepare at-risk children for success in school.  Your gift will provide literacy assistance and new books for three children.

The Gift of Nurturing, $45 for a day or $225 for a week
Provide safe, loving care and educational programs for young children.  This gift also supports low-income parents who are making the move from welfare to work by ensuring they have accessible, reliable child care.

The Gift of Empowerment, $52
Empower women who have been or currently are incarcerated through strength-based and solution focused workshops.  Our Step by Step program helps women build healthy lives for themselves and their families.

The Gift of Hope, $100
Ensure that a homeless family can move from a shelter into a place they can call home. This gift helps to locate housing for homeless families and helps them stabilize their lives with follow-up support services.

The GIft of Self-Confidence, $30
Assist impoverished individuals to conduct successful job searches by providing them with professional business attire and coaching for job interviews.

A Gift for the Future, $100, $ 250, $ 500 or more
Help Volunteers of America continue to meet the needs of those most vulnerable in our community.  Your contribution will enable VOA to meet the needs of those who are hungry, homeless, addicted, and isolated in the coming year and beyond.
