The Gift of Shelter for a Family – $52
Ensure that homeless parents and their children have a safe place to sleep, food to eat, and the assistance necessary to address the crisis in their lives. This gift will help families staying at Volunteers of America’s Emergency Family Shelter.
The Gift of Shelter for an Individual – $27
Provide housing for a homeless individual and support services to help him rebuild his life.
The Gift of Food – $75
Supply a week of groceries for a family who is struggling to make ends meet.
The Gift of Literacy – $15
Help prepare at-risk children for success in school. Your gift will provide literacy assistance and new books for three children.
The Gift of Nurturing – $40 for a day or $200 for a week
Provide safe, loving care and education programs for young children. This gift also supports low-income parents who are making the move from welfare to work by ensuring they have accessible, reliable child care.
The Gift of a Second Chance – $50
Make it possible for individuals leaving prison to develop positive, productive lives as they transition back into the community. This gift will provide temporary housing, employment assistance, and life skills training.
The Gift of Hope – $120
Ensure that a homeless family can move from a shelter into a place they can call home. This gift supports VOA’s Homeless Intervention Program, which locates housing for homeless families and helps them to stabilize their lives.
The Gift of Self-Confidence – $35
Help formerly homeless and/or impoverished individuals conduct successful job searches by providing them with professional business attire and coaching for interviews.

Honor business colleagues, teacher, neighbors, friends and family members, by making a donation in their name.
Simply select your gift(s), then fill out the "Gift for Friends" section of the response form.
Volunteers of America will send holiday cards to the people you have identified, acknowledging that you made a donation in their name.
Gifts can also be made in memory of a loved one. A memorial card recognizing this gift will be send to the person's family.
