Volunteers of America helps more than 10,000 people throughout Western and Central New York each year. Our programs are designed to help families and individuals in need overcome the challenging circumstances they face and acquire the life skills needed to rebuild their lives.

As homelessness and poverty in the Rochester area continues grow, families are faced with a shortage of safe, affordable housing. The Volunteers of America NEW Emergency Family Shelter is bridging the gap by providing families in crises with a place to call home while they work to get back on their feet.
